The School of Nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) invites applications and nominations for a full time Director of Educational Innovation that will advance innovative teaching strategies, curriculum development, and scholarship. Candidates for this faculty position with extensive experience in nursing education, curriculum development, and educational innovation are encouraged to apply. Candidates must have strong knowledge of innovative processes, demonstrated expertise in assessment strategies and their integration into curriculum development, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Rank, tenure, and salary are competitive and commensurate with professional background and experience. A doctoral degree (PhD or EdD) in nursing education, educational technology, instructional design, or a related field is required. Candidates must hold an unencumbered registered nurse license in the state of Alabama or be eligible for licensure as a registered nurse in Alabama. Faculty may elect different degrees of emphasis on the teaching, service and scholarship components of the faculty role. This is not a remote position.
