Children’s Hospital Colorado is seeking a visionary and accomplished Vice President for Patience Care Services, with a focus in Critical Care Services.

The Vice President or Patient Care Services will partner with Divisional VPs in providing strategic and operational leadership for the Division of Patient Care Services. In addition, they will focus on a System strategy for Critical Care Services, advancing clinical practice and operations to achieve exception patient outcomes in a dynamic academic healthcare environment.

Services include: Pediatric Intensive Care, Heart Institute including intensive care and progressive care services, ECMO, CRRT, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, Labor and Delivery, Lactation and Respiratory Therapy.

This leader will be a key member of the executive leadership team, collaborating with clinical, academic, and administrative leaders to ensure the highest standards of care, patient safety, and nursing excellence.

• Department Name: Critical Care Services
• Job Status: Full time, 40 hours/week
• Shift: M-F business hours with 24/7 accountability
• Minimum Salary: $239,600 – The salary for the position varies based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree in health-related field
• Experience: Five (5) years of nursing clinical experience and five (5) years of leadership experience over the clinical operations and staff required. Applicants with clinical and/or leadership experience related area of specialty (Critical Care), Pediatric experience, and/or Academic Healthcare experience preferred.
• Certifications: An ANCC recognized certification. Nurse Executive or Nurse Executive Advanced required within 12 months of hire. Active member in a nursing or professional healthcare organization.
