The Oakland University School of Nursing invites applications for two to three tenure-track positions at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to start on August 15, 2025. Applicants must hold a current Michigan RN license or be eligible for licensure in Michigan. The School of Nursing offers high-quality, accessible education at the baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral levels. Professors will be responsible for teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses, engaging in scholarly activities, and contributing to the growth of the School and its professional service.

Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to diversity and inclusion, with experience or a strong interest in fostering a diverse faculty and student body. Preferred areas of expertise include acute care, maternal-child/OB, pediatrics (prefer pediatric acute care NP certification), leadership, psych/mental health nursing (prefer PMH NP certification), simulation, forensic nursing, and adult-geriatric NP (primary or acute care). However, all qualified candidates will be considered.
