Public Health Nurse

The Cuyahoga County Board of Health (CCBH) is seeking a full-time Public Health Nurse (PHN) to begin on or after June 1, 2026. This role provides high-quality health services through clinical care, case management, health education, emergency response, and community outreach within Cuyahoga County. PHNs deliver assessments, screenings, vaccinations, counseling, and referrals in clinic, school, and home settings while maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with public health standards.

Key responsibilities include health education, disease prevention, care coordination, and home visitation. Program focus areas may include Newborn Home Visiting, Clinic Services, and Complex Medical Help.

Minimum qualifications: Associate’s degree in nursing, valid Ohio RN license, CPR certification, one year of related experience, and valid driver’s license/insurance.
