The Ebony Canal: A Story of Black Infant Health

October 25 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

THE EBONY CANAL: A Story of Black Infant Health uses storytelling to bring greater attention to black infant health and the experiences surrounding pregnancy, birth, motherhood, healthcare, and the factors that influence outcomes for black mothers and babies. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion and community conversation designed to move us beyond awareness and toward continued education, advocacy, collaboration, and action.

Through this screening, the NBNA Black Maternal Health Equity Committee seeks to create a space where healthcare professionals, advocates, families, and community members can come together to listen, learn, engage, and identify ways we can collectively support healthier mothers, healthier babies, and healthier communities.
