Black Nurses Association of Maryland Eastern Shore
A Chapter of the National Black Nurses Association Inc.
Chapter Overview
The Black Nurses Association of the Maryland Eastern Shore was founded in 2023 with a mission to support, empower, and advance the professional development of African American nurses in the region. Recognizing the need for a dedicated platform to address the unique challenges faced by Black nurses, the association emerged as a vital resource for advocacy, mentorship, and community engagement. We are proudly affiliated with the National Black Nurses Association (NBNA); the Maryland Eastern Shore chapter aligns itself with the broader goals of promoting health equity and excellence in nursing practice.
