University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW-Madison), considered one of the world’s outstanding public research universities, invites nominations and applications for the position of Dean, School of Nursing.The Dean, who reports to the Chancellor through the Provost, serves as the chief academic and executive officer of the SoN. Qualifications include an earned research doctorate (PhD or equivalent) in nursing or a related field. If the research doctorate is not in nursing, candidates must hold a graduate degree in nursing. Candidates must have a demonstrated record of excellence in research, teaching, and service to ensure eligibility for tenure at UW-Madison. Eligibility for registered nurse licensure in Wisconsin is also required.
