Nurse Practitioner

Job Details:

• Provide direct clinical care, treatment recommendations, prescriptions, and thorough, timely documentation according to practice guidelines and while adhering to evidence-based, trauma-informed practices.
• Provide unbiased, evidence-based and support for students seeking PEP, PrEP, gender affirming health care, sexual and reproductive health counseling, including options counseling.
• Participate in activities related to the Health Center?s accredited status by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).
• Minimum Qualifications
• Masters Degree from college or university from a Nurse Practitioner program is required. Experience within college health, internal medicine, primary care, or urgent care is strongly preferred.
• Active license through the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing as a Massachusetts Advanced Practice Nurse (or ability to obtain).
• Current National Board Certification as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner.
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Active DEA and Mass Controlled Substance Registration (or ability to obtain).
